Adult Learners' Week is the UK's largest and longest running learning campaign. This will be the 19th year. Held each May, it encourages thousands of adults, whatever their age and background, to give learning a go.
To help promote the week, we are collecting details from organisations who are thinking of taking part in Adult Learners' Week 2010 (15- 21 May).
We want to hear from you if you:
- have previously been involved in Adult Learners' Week
- would like to get involved this year
- are running learning activities as part of Adult Learners' Week
We are coordinating a multi-sector, countywide timetable that will be promoted across the Nottinghamshire region in the run up to Adult Learners' Week.
You can put your event on the Adult Learners' Week web site www.alw.org.uk
We are also coordinating activities for a Cultural Diversity Day on Saturday the 15th May 2010 and would like people to come forward with ideas, venues etc.
Let us know what you have planned by emailing sarahs@enable.uk.net
