Applications for Projects Delivering in the County

The third application round for Nottinghamshire remains open and is exclusively for:

  • Projects delivering in the County (as opposed to the City)
  • Projects requiring a lower level of grant (below £5,000)

Priority will be given to:

  • Projects submitted by organisations with a lower income level
  • Projects supporting the over 50’s (looking to (re)enter the labour market)
  • Organisations not previously in receipt of an ESF Community Grant
  • Projects targeting men

In order to maximise the number of applications we receive under this application round and the amount of time projects have in which to deliver we will be operating this application round differently from previous rounds. There is no definitive deadline date for applications, but the opportunity to make an application will only remain open until 1st April 2010; applications can be submitted at any time up to that date and will be assessed individually and if they meet the required eligibility and quality standards and are clearly addressing a programme target they will be individually recommended for support to our programme Steering Group.

As applications will be funded on a first come first served basis the opportunity to apply for a grant will end when the funding has all been allocated. Applicants must be aware when deciding to apply that the selection process can take several weeks and all programme activity must be completed by 30 September 2010; so the delivery timeframe for your proposal must be achievable.

All applicants must notify the Nottinghamshire Development Worker of their intention to apply so she can support them in the application process and keep them updated as to the amount of funding still available.
