
There are two ways to recruit an Apprentice. Recruit a new member of staff or offer the qualification to an existing employee. PJT Employability chose the latter.
Manager Phil Toon spotted the opportunity as the perfect way for employee Marlene Leivers to continue her professional development.
Phil says, “As an organisation PJT are keen to support the development of our staff. Through an IAG (Information, Advice and Guidance) session we identified an Apprenticeship as the ideal way to develop some of our existing staff. Once we looked through the options, we decided an Apprenticeship in Business Administration would offer the best opportunity for Marlene to develop in her role."

Marlene is thriving in her new role, “I would recommend Apprenticeships to anyone. Undertaking this has helped me massively and I have learnt a lot.
