What is e-learning? There isn't a universally accepted definition of e-learning, but the European Union definition of e-learning is: 'The use of computer technology, including the Internet, to teach and learn.' There seems to be a trend towards convergence now where ILT and e-learning effectively mean the same thing, although some would argue that e-learning should be reserved for online learning.
