To support the development of the Skills Priorities Statement (SPS) emda have organised a series of short discussion sessions, including one in Nottingham.
All Regional Development Agencies are required to produce a SPS that captures skills priorities for the coming 3 years and is updated annually.
The purpose of the SPS will be to provide an overview of skills required to support economic recovery and growth. This will cover all skills levels from age 16 upwards. It will have a strong local and sectoral focus. The session will include information about the underpinning evidence base and the draft SPS followed by discussion.
We want enable members to take part in these discussions and share their views and opinions.
You can do this by either attending, or by sharing your thoughts before the session with enable's Don Hayes on 0115 934 8429 or email don@enable.uk.net. Or you can contact emda directly (see contact details below).
Please nominate a representative from your organisation by emailing Skills@emd.org.uk to confirm your attendance and stating that you wish to attend the Nottingham session. If you have any questions please contact emda's Rob Seeney, Regional Skills Strategy Manager on robertseeney@emd.org.uk or Denise Haslam, Skills Policy Advisor on denisehaslam@emd.org.uk
