Enter our photography competition: gain some exposure for yourself, your organisation and the good work you're doing!
Enable is running a photography competition to find the best images that show how community learning is making a difference.
The competition is open to charities, community groups and voluntary organisations across the East Midlands as well as individuals who have a link with them. This includes staff, volunteers, tutors and learners. Each photo can also be accompanied by a short description of 200 words or less that explains what is happening in the photograph and how it is making a difference.
A panel of judges will decide who the winner of each category is and an overall winner. Prizes include: a digital camera, a Co-op food hamper, ice skating tickets and cricket match tickets.
The categories are:
Employment If you are working and learning, taking part in the Work Programme, doing an apprenticeship, we want to see you hard at work!
Where You Live Showcase your area and take a picture of your community. Attending an event in your local community? Celebrating Diwali, Black History Month, Bonfire Night? Take your camera or your smartphone and take some pics!
Learning Show us what you're learning! Whether it's watching a film, reading a book, going to a museum, going to a dance class - learning takes many forms and we want you to showcase all of them!
Paparazzi Become a snap-happy pap, and photograph anything to do with learning, skills, and employment. Catch someone doing something fun and share it with us!
Community Grants If you are taking part in a project funded by ESF Community Grants we want to see what your project is all about. Take pictures of your project and let us see what you're up to.
You & Your Work This is your chance to show off! Show us what you are good at, and display your work for all to see. Whether it's a culinary masterpiece you've created from scratch, or a scarf you've knitted, we want to see what you can do!
