Training

Equality and diversity: carrying out equality impact assessments seminar - 23 November 2010, Peterborough. The Learning and Skills Improvement Service (LSIS) has designed a series of seminars to explore how to effectively carry out equality impact assessments (EIAs). These are timely, given that the new inspection framework places greater emphasis on equal opportunities, and EIAs are a key tool to help embed and improve equality and diversity throughout the organisation.

Equality and diversity - prepared for inspection? - This one-day programme is designed to help participants understand what the Common Inspection Framework will evaluate under the rubric of equality and diversity, how equality and diversity is inspected and how to be fully prepared for inspection of equal opportunities.

Introduction to leadership - Introduction to leadership is one of the programmes in our positive-action suite, and has been designed for BME staff who wish to develop the confidence and skills required to progress into their first leadership and management role.

Leading Organisational Performance through Coaching, Mentoring and Equalities - Achieve a Level 7 Certificate in Leadership Coaching and Mentoring plus a Level 6 Award in Equality and Diversity
