The Learning Partnership Consortium is the new partnership group aiming to coordinate delivery of alternative provision by small providers in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.
Alternative provision is a range of different learning interventions for young people for whom mainstream school is not working.
Two open meetings have been held in May and August this year from which the consortium was initiated. A member of staff has been taken on to manage it (Aidan Jackson) and a third meeting will take place in Nottingham at the NVAC building on Mansfield Road, 10:00am - 12:00pm on Thursday 20 October 2011. This will be the first 'members only' meeting.
To date 25 organisations from across the City and County have signed up.
Membership is open and you are welcome to join. For details of the meeting and the consortium please contact Aidan Jackson on 0115 934 8435 or aidan@enable.uk.net.
