vcashpoint is seeking to provide funding for small volunteer-led projects in England that are inspired by the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Grants of up to £2,500 are available to individuals aged 16 to 25 for projects that clearly benefit a chosen community and fit within v's five themes for the 2012 Games:
- Sport
- Culture
- Environment
- Health
- Education
Applicants must also demonstrate how their project reflects at least one of the seven values of the Olympic and Paralympic Games:
- Respect
- Excellence
- Friendship
- Courage
- Determination
- Inspiration
- Equality
Successful applicants may be considered by the London 2012 Organising Committee to carry the London 2012 Inspire mark which officially recognises their project as part of the 2012 Games.
The deadlines for applications to Rounds 8 and 9 are 10 May 2010 ( 12 noon) and 6 September 2010 (12 noon)
