What is Workforce Development?
Workforce development focuses on the recruitment, training & development and retention of the Boards, staff and volunteers needed to support organisations to reach their objectives.
Training and development can take many forms; e.g. from advice and developmental support from Managers and colleagues, coaching, and attending events to undertaking more formal qualification based training routes and participating in Continued Professional Development (CPD) routes in specialist areas.
