    • Brain Games - Brain Games is a learner centred resource, which gives learners a quick and easy way to practise their skills in a range of subjects. A brand new version has been released with new subject content and learner tracking functionality.

  • Welcoming Diversity Workshop - 6 October 2010, Nottingham A 1-day workshop plus follow up mentoring session which teaches practical skills to reduce prejudice and increase inclusivity.

  • Foundation Learning 14-19 Events - 2 FREE events have been organised by Nottinghamshire County Council to update and inform existing and potential partners about Foundation Learning 14-19, and to further develop and extend district based partnership working within Foundation Learning.   • Support for Literacy, Language and Numeracy programme - This new programme will help you develop high quality teaching and learning that will enable more learners to develop their literacy, language and numeracy skills and to progress in life and work.

  • The Skills Pledge Gains Momentum - Over 300 organisations have now signed up in the region.

  • Case Study: Community Grants - Dot the Dots - A visually-impaired Nottingham woman now has a full time job creating products in audio and braille formats thanks to Community Grants.

  • Fit for Work Service Launched in Nottinghamshire - A new FREE service aimed at retaining people with health problems in work has been launched in Ashfield, Mansfield and Nottingham.
