The Branch out in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) project offers fully funded courses which aim to support employees from SMEs across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire to access digital skills development opportunities, career coaching and advice.

The Branch out in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) programme offers employees of Small and Medium Size Enterprises (SME's) working across Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire (D2N2) with fully funded training opportunities to develop digital skills in priority areas relevant to your role.
  • Do you need to increase your skills in Online Marketing or Social Media?
  • Perhaps you need to build Online Training content through Google Classroom or aren't sure which platform would be best or how to structure e-learning?
  • You may benefit from a deeper understanding of Word, Excel and Power Point?
  • Are you getting the most our of Office 365, Teams and Email?
What ever you need to enhance your skills we will have a course that helps you develop your online capabilities.
Each of these modules are delivered as short online courses and are available to suit your availability, working around other commitments.  They can also lead to a qualified route if you wish to take your learning to the next level.
And as part of this offer you'll get a career coach and endless support from us, so you can perform at your very best.   

How is this programme funded?

The Branch out in STEM project is part-funded by the European Social Fund and the project runs until December 2023.

Whether you start with the entry course and progress onto the qualified route both courses will be eligible for funding.

You can choose to follow the CPD pathway which is delivered in 1 - 2 days depending on the level required and stop there if you wish or progress onto the qualification.

Intakes for all routes are every month from April up to September. Numbers are limited so you'll need to register soon or you will miss out!
